KP and JP are reading The Phantom Tollbooth in Language Lab. We've posted some of our questions in the discussion section but here's some of our other thoughts:
Chapter 5
KP predicted that Milo would be arrested after the mess in the Word Market. JP predicted that in Dictionopolis, people would overspeak.
KP: Milo did get arrested. I couldn't believe they believed the Humbug. Officer Shrift should've known that the Humbug was a liar! I think there's going to be a prince in the next chapter (I saw a little of the next page and saw the word prince!). I think they're going to let Milo and Tock out of prison.
JP: People in Dictionopolois did overspeak. I wonder why they overspeak?
Chapter 6: Faintly Macabre's Story
An old lady told Milo and Tock about the story about four kids. When Milo and Tock escaped from prison, they had to press a button. They escaped and the Ministers were like "Come on, someone wants to talk to you". - JP
Chapter 7: The Royal Banquet
I think Reason will have a straight and stern face while Rhyme will have a gay and happy face. - KP
Yeah, "Reason will give you a reason to do [something]". - JP
